Teacher Eligibility test is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for their appointment as teacher in state government schools. This exams are conducted by state governments or authorities.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates should be of minimum 18 years of age (There is no upper age limit for TET exams)
Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 percent marks
Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/ course.
